Chozen a young remarkable Talent

‘Pressure ya love’ which is currently a hit on most airwaves in Uganda is the hit from which he is known.

Born in Mityana district – Uganda in a family of thirteen is Musasizi Patric aka Chozen Blood –a musician whose music has captured most playlists.

Qn: When did you start singing?

I started out way back in 2003 , in senior one when I was in the church and school choirs.

Qn: What inspired you into music?

A: Listening to much sweet music inspired me into music

Qn: When did you record your first song?

I recorded in 2006 the first song and album for ‘a child unheard’ a Charity organisation, I recorded it at Fenon Records produced by Steve Jean

Qn: Who is/are your role models?

A: My father is my role model.                                                                                                                                 

Qn: Are you working on another album?

A: I am working on an album to be called ‘Pressure ya love’ and I have so far eight songs I’ve been in the duo sector done a couple of songs with my cousin sister Walden and am trying to push solo.

Qn: What’s new that your fans should expect at the moment?

A:My lated solo song is ‘Okitukiriza’ whose video is curently out.

Qn: How do you find the music industry?

A:  It is growing,theres alot of competition,today some of the videos here in EastAfrica go as far as Channel O and MTV Base Television which is a progress. There’s still need to support more of the talent here.

Qn: Any future prospects?

A: Am working on first doing an albulm, selling out the entire East Africa, here in Uganda so far people know who Chosen is. Am looking at pushing it back home in Rwanda as I can’t wait getting back to Kigali. Later in the future am looking at extending my audience to Tanzania and Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa hopefully.

Qn: What do you advise upcoming artistes out there?

A: To me I’d advise discipline which has helped me go miles, discipline in all is what you seem, what you say, how you take people to be and it can sure take you to another level.

A: What attitude did your parents have when you decided to go into singing-how did they react?

Iam so greatful for they’ve always been supportive.
